He has a point. BiP recharges insanely fast, having both is a bit pointless. Of course, the other monks should know you're not carrying OoB and can't heal as well without the energy management. In PvE tombs, life attunment will be removed a lot. If you have energy problems, Divine Spirit + Heal Other/Orison spamming might work for you.

Sounds logical. Although, if i were some random party leader looking for a battery necro, I might be skeptical about this build.

Its a good build overall, but energy managment is a problem. I find that even with my battery necro I sometimes have very low energy, even with soul reaping.

Actually never thought of using a Battery with a Monk primary. Might have to try this out since previously when I played as a battery I always had to sustain heavy amounts of healing.
I suppose this makes you more self sufficient, but at the cost of heavy energy usage by the looks of things. If you are indeed trying to heal up your own 33% sac after every usage of BiP.

I recently did the FoW with a primarily all guildee group (maybe 1 or 2 PUGS) and we had no tanks. So, using my Mo/N I became the battery. I was fueling 2 monks, a mesmer and 3 eles -- the last party member was a ranger. Now to be fair, one monk was a bonder for a good percentage of the time so needed minimal attention from me, but the other monk got non stop service as did the the 2 of the 3 eles while the mesmer and 1 other ele got minimal service.
Now, the 2 eles I was serving kept echoing Meteor Shower and were always getting refueled and always spamming their energy. They had no energy management skills.
Best comment I recieved was from our heal monk that said his energy never dipped below 30.
Lastly, I was also running a boon prot build, so I was helping heal as I batteried. I'll post the build if anyone wants it...nothing all that fantsy put it together on the fly.
**Just adding credt to the Monk primary battery build

Maybe I'm misunderstanding, but we usually use a low hp build for our battery Necro. Usually a monk will cast a 4bip mending which really eases the healing/regen issues following a BiP. Couldn't you just use an 80hp build, cast mending on yourself and then BiP your party members when needed?
